Anita Barone

Barone is featured as a character in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld that aired in the season four. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a cook that is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. She appeared in the early 1990s when she was a regular member of Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone also played Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex wife in her first appearance on Friends. Barone left the show when she wanted to pursue the role full-time. was taken over with Jane Sibbett. She was the main character in The Jeff Foxworthy Show during the first year (1995-1996) as well as The War at Home in 2005 through 2007. In 2000, Barone has also appeared in her sitcom Daddio. Barone also has a number of credits on TV, which include Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded the Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award in 2005 for her part in the show One Last Ride. In 2010 three years after The War at Home ended its run Barone was cast in a regular role as a character on Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up in the role of Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones his former husband of Barone's character on two of the episodes.
