Anita Barone

Barone appears in The Shoes, an episode of Seinfeld in season 4. Barone plays Gail Cunningham as a cook that is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was also a part-time cast member of Carol & Company, starring alongside Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone appeared as Carol Willick Geller's ex-wife in the initial Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett replaced her after she left to take on an full-time position. Barone was a guest in The Jeff Foxworthy Show in the initial season (from 1995-96) before appearing in The War at Home between 2005 until the year 2007. Barone was also a part of Daddio which was a sitcom that aired in 2000. Barone also has a number of credits on television, including Desperate Houswives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone was the recipient of the 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her performance in the The feature film One Last Ride. Three years later, after The War at Home ended the series, Barone began her recurring role in the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as the character of Officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
